Two Realme 9 Pro phones will be revealed the 16th of February (today) and it could be the final teaser prior to the main event – and in reality, it’s all we’ll need to tease us as the company has revealed key information about both phones. Some of them we’ve seen only in the form of rumored models, while others haven’t even been revealed.
The Realme 9 Pro+ will be powered by Dimensity 920 and aims to be the first European phone to use this chip, however the teaser is from Indonesia and is the country in which the 2 Pros are scheduled to launch on the same day.
The phone will come with a Sony IMX766 camera (1/1.56″, 1.0 um pixels). Realme believes so strongly with the camera that it has created a head-to-head competition with its 9 Pro+ and some of the most popular Android camera phones, including The Pixel 6, the Xiaomi 12 and the Galaxy S21 Ultra.
Realme 9 Pro+ Realme 9 Pro+ will have an AMOLED display that has an inbuilt fingerprint reader which offers a unique feature – it will monitor the heartbeat. The display will feature an Super AMOLED panel with 90 Hz refresh rate. On the back screen, the phone will sport an exclusive Color-changing Light Shift design (this isn’t confirmed yet, but we’re expecting to have both Pros with three shades).
In the end, the Pro+ will support 60W fast charging. The battery’s capacity is yet to be determined.
Moving onto then the Realme 9 Pro, this model is powered by the Snapdragon 695. As leaks suggest the phone will feature an 5,000 mAh battery that will support charging up to 33W. It will sport an iconic Light Shift design on its back.
